Real Madrid Soccer Camp
Madrid, Spain
(10 to 17 year old)
Soccer Camp Since 2002
Boys

Real Madrid los futbol Campus de
Verano 2008 Real Madrid
Congratulations to Real
Madrid FC: 2008
Spanish La Liga Champions
The most famous soccer club in Spain and around the
world, Real Madrid Football Club, wants you to experience
the best soccer coaching this summer. You will be able to experience a great Spanish culture,
make new friends from all over the world, develop your soccer
skills and learn new ones.
The training sessions will be based on technical and
tactical work which will be applied in game situations. Players are assigned in small groups to get the best
one on one approach with the coaches (3 level of soccer practices during
the camp based on players level established on the first day of camp). The camp size is limited to give the opportunity for
each player to have a better individual coaching session.
This Official Real Madrid Soccer Program
is designed for those who
play regular soccer to a
good standard and is an
intensive course. This
Soccer Camp is only for players with strong soccer skills. Recreational
and debutant soccer players will not be admitted. For those who do not
play to such a high standard, we strongly recommend a more recreational
sport camp instead.
At least 3 reasons why you should participate at this
one of a kind Official Real Madrid Soccer Camp or like they say in Spain: Real
Madrid Fútbol Campus
- Coaching sessions directed by Real Madrid
Youth Coaches;
- Camp Location:
Spanish Fútbol
Federation's La Ciudad del Fútbol, Madrid, home of the Spanish National
Soccer (Football) Teams
(during summer 2007, camp participants were able to meet and see
practice, at La Ciudad, players of the U17 Spanish National team, U17
Soccer World Cup finalist.)
(you will stay in Raul, Casillas, Fabregas or Reyes's bedrooms!);
- It's a Real Madrid experience, the club with the
Best Soccer Players around the world, FIFA's Best Team of the 20th
Century, 30
Spanish League Titles, 17 Spanish Cups and 9 UEFA European Champions
League Titles. You will also visit Santiago Bernabeu stadium (Real
Madrid famous stadium) and Museum.
The success of Real Madrid’s training methods is
not only shown by its outstanding record of titles but also by the
accomplishments of some of the coaches who have started and developed a
significant part of their careers in the development of Real Madrid’s
young teams.
Coaches like:
- Vicente Del Bosque, GM of Real Madrid
grassroots for 12 years (88-99): 2 Champions league (2000, 2002).
- Rafael Benitez (Liverpool FC Coach), head coach of all Real Madrid
grassroots categories for 9 years (86-95): 1 Champions league with
Liverpool (2005), 1 UEFA Cup with Valencia (2004).

The
Real Madrid Camp will be located on the magnificent sports
complex of
the
Spanish Futbol Federation's
La Ciudad del Futbol
(complex videos), home of the Spanish National Soccer Teams.
La Ciudad del Futbol
(Map)
is located about 24 kms from Madrid.
The facilities include quad bedrooms, restaurant,
cafeteria, 4 soccer fields (2 grass and 2 artificial), a
swimming pool, a game room, a gymnasium and more.
Soccer campers will stay onsite during the entire camp
except during the
excursions. The well being of all children on Real Madrid
sessions
is of paramount importance for them, therefore parents are not allowed
on campus during the sessions. Real Madrid feels this will allow the
children to settle into the Residential lifestyle and maintain their
safety and security.
|
The soccer course will be comprehensive, covering all
elements of the game including techniques, skills, phases of play
and
small sided games. All
participants will be expected to take an active role in this element, so
it is advised that participants have a good level of fitness before they
attend.
-
On
the first day, groups are established based on age and ability (3 level
of soccer practices during the camp)
-
Campers
will have on average 3 - 4 hours of soccer per day (Monday thru Friday).
-
During the
weekend between the 2 weeks, there are no practices. Excursions are
planned to great attraction parks in the Madrid area (Parque De Atrracciones
and/or
Acuopolis)
and a visit to the famous
Real Madrid Santiago Bernabeu Stadium and Museum.
-
Day and Night
activities will include tennis table, pool table, swimming pool, soccer
video games, movies etc.
The soccer coaches are all highly qualified staff
from Real Madrid and are, therefore, specialists in sport formation.
They will teach participants how to improve their style, but most
important they will teach them how to work and play as a team.
During the camp, you will have technical preparation
drills (ball control, ball recuperation, defense, attack, shot, passes
etc.), tactical preparation drills (1 on 1, defense vs offense, game
system, style of play etc.) and physical preparation (injury prevention,
development of basic physical qualities thru specific training, etc.)
Meals are prepared under dietetically control for the
professional soccer player, and are elaborated by the same chefs who
make them for the Spanish National Soccer Teams players.
