San Francisco Bay Area, California Soccer Camps
Le Soccer Camp powered by
Bobby Charlton Soccer
and
Sports Academy
Belmont,
San Francisco Bay Area, California, USA
(10 to 17 year old)
(Day camp option available)
British
Soccer Camp Since 2007
Boys and Girls (coed)

This soccer camp launched in England by the most
popular English soccer player of all times, Sir Bobby Charlton (winner of
the 1966 Soccer World Cup with England, and also winner of European Clubs
Cup, English Championships and English Cup with Manchester United) is one
of the Best England Soccer Camp of the past 30 years.
Bobby Charlton Soccer and Sports Academy (BCSSA), based
near Manchester, England, travel
the world to teach soccer skills development the English way. BCSSA has
soccer camps everywhere from England to Australia via Qatar, India, Italy, The
Azores, Germany, Turkey, Egypt and now in the USA.

After our sold out 2007 camps, BCSSA Coaches are back
(Matt, Pete and Rob will be here again with more new coaches) for more
drills and to bring an English flair to US soccer or Football like they say
in England.

During your camp, you will be able to experience what a
real England Soccer Camp is all about, you will make new friends from all over the world
(In 2007, we had participants from Singapore, Japan, Mexico, Canada and from
all over the USA),
you will visit San Francisco and beautiful sites like the Golden Gate
Bridge (2 weeks stay only)
and most of all, you will develop your soccer skills and learn new ones,
the English Way.
BCSSA English coaches have UEFA (Europe Soccer Governing Body) and FA
(English Football Association) coaching
licenses.
Players are assigned in small groups to get the best
one on one approach with the coaches.
The camp size is limited to give the
opportunity for each player to have a better individual coaching session.
The soccer coaching sessions will be taught in English Premiership
Academies Coaching style starting with technical drills, then skill
exercises, and finishing with game situations.
BCSSA World Skills Final:
Throughout the year BCSSA operate Skills Tests on their courses. The
winner of the Skills Tests are invited to the World Skills Final which
takes place at the end of our season at their England residential base Myerscough College near Manchester. During our camp, there will be one
winner for each session who will be invited (airfare not included) to compete against BCSSA
worldwide winners (2007 USA BCSSA World Skills Winners:
week 1 -
week 2). Our 2007
week 1 winner, Ryo, will participate at the World Skills finals this
July in Manchester, England.
The most famous participant at the Bobby Charlton
Soccer and Sports Academy from 1986 to 1988 was England National
team player and Manchester United / Real Madrid / Los Angeles Galaxy player David
Beckham. David Beckham won the Bobby Charlton Soccer Schools skills
competition as a 12 year old and participants, this summer, will be tested
in the same skills competition (each week a winner will be invited to the
world skills finals in England).
Since David Beckham, another ex BCSSA participant also
made it to the English Premier Football League (EPL), Stephen Ireland from
Manchester City and the National Soccer Team of Ireland, while another prospect, Freddy Eastwood, from
Wolverhampton Wanderers FC and the National Soccer Team of Wales, is also on his way to the top English
League.

BCSSA will be located on the
superb 50 acres campus of
Notre Dame de Namur University (NDNU).
The campus is settled in the peaceful, wooded
community of
Belmont,

one of the most exciting cities in the world, and at the
northern edge of the Silicon Valley, the heart of a
